Yung Miami‘s career as a podcaster started after a conversation with Diddy. Speaking to Complex, the City Girls member, born Caresha Brownlee, says he suggested she host a show after her appearance on the Respectfully Justin podcast.

“Diddy had came and then after the show, [he] was like, ‘I like the way you was answering them questions,’ and that hit me off guard. … He was like, ‘You got such a great strong personality; I want to link up with you or whatever,'” said Caresha.

She said they later met at his house, where he suggested she try doing a podcast.

“He was like, ‘I think you would do good. I think you’d be a great host,’” Caresha said.

Yung Miami then started her new venture, Caresha Please, which has featured guests TrinaMegan Thee StallionG HerboKevin Gates and Diddy. With two episodes left in the season, she says the most fulfilling part of her experience has been “people coming on the show, being open and really enjoying themself and being vulnerable.”

The City Girl hopes to one day get Lori Harvey or Beyoncé on her couch “to talk girl things,” and also Denzel Washington to get a man’s perspective on things.

“I feel like guys are very interesting. I like to see things through their eyes. They think differently than women. So, I just really be wanting to know what’s going on in their head,” she says.

Elsewhere in the interview, Caresha, who dated Diddy, said she’s single and advised against mixing “friendships and romantic relationships into business.” She also addressed the future of City Girls, noting, “I don’t think that we would ever split up.”
