DJ Khaled has recruited Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Ramos to help announce his upcoming album, Aalam of God.
They star in a seven-minute blockbuster album trailer, which finds Khaled doing all he can to protect the album files from Wahlberg and his team of assailants who are trying to get it from his briefcase. With hopes to escape, Khaled gets into a car with Ramos, who turns on him and demands the album while holding him at gunpoint, but still, he manages to get away unscathed.
“Make sure you listen in order too — from the intro to the outro,” Khaled says. As he walks onto a private jet headed to the studio, he adds, “Do me a favor, send Rihanna the record. Aalam of God.”
Elsewhere in the trailer, there is mention of there being two Drake songs on the album.
Aalam of God, meaning World of God, will arrive in 2025, but no release date has been announced. Khaled writes in the caption, “This is not my last album, it’s my Black album,” referring to Jay-Z’s 2003 album. “FYI… DRAKES BACK TO WORK… SO AM I!”
