An alternate version to Latto‘s “Blick Sum” has arrived alongside a video and guest feature from Playboi Carti.
Directed by Hidji World and Gunner Stahl, the video captures the two artists flexing their money, lyrics and fashion in front of a white Rolls-Royce and throughout various spots in Latto’s native Atlanta.
Carti comes in with his verse at around three minutes and also contributes to the chorus of the song.
The Carti-assisted “Blick Sum” arrives after a leak that preceded the release of Latto’s Sugar Honey Iced Tea, on which the original version appears. Carti then teased a collaboration earlier this month, posting photos of them alongside the caption, “HUMBLE LIKE A MF BUT DIS YEAR MINE. LATTO AH REAL 1.”
Sugar Honey Iced Tea dropped in August, followed by Carti’s single “All Red” in September. He previewed some songs from his upcoming I Am Music album at Rolling Loud in December; no release date has been announced.
